The Major Battles of the Knights Templar

The Knights Templar, also known as the Templar Knights, were one of the most significant military-religious-economic organizations of the Medieval period. Founded in 1119 to protect Christian pilgrims traveling to the Holy Land, they later participated in the Crusades. Below are some of the major battles involving the Knights Templar:

Battle of Montgisard (1177): Despite being outnumbered, the Knights Templar, under the leadership of Baldwin IV of Jerusalem, achieved a significant victory against Saladin's forces.
